1938 Bantam Car Print
Brandywine General Store
$8.99
Brandywine General Store is offering for sale a premium, archival print of the 1938 Bantam Car which is setting along the front of an abandoned service station. A 55 gallon wooden barrel is setting beside the front of the car with the staves all askew. This automobile doesn't look like it has run for quite awhile, but has a lot of character. The Bantam is a forerunner of the Jeep and were built in Butler Pennsylvania in a building that belonged to the Standard Steel Car Company. Only around 20,000 of these cars were built all during the years of production, they were never very popular during their manufacturing years. However these cars are now very popular with hot rodders and drag racers. The 1938 Model Bantam was the inspiration for Donald Duck's car which was first seen in the 1937 movie Don Donald. I am not positive this is a 38 model, so if this is important to you, please find out before ordering. Picture #20
