Osram La Lampe French Advertising Print
A Museum Quality Print of Osram La Lampe French Advertising Lithograph Poster for sale by Brandywine General Store. Our premium archival artwork shows a humorous ad which is advertising an early light bulb by the Osram Company in France. The magician or emcee is politely drawing our attention to his lamp, but with his looks, he is anything but polite and you had better listen to him. A very well executed poster which was drawn by Georges Goursat. Osram gets its name from the two elements that were commonly used for lighting filaments at the time the company was founded which were Osmium and Wolfram, which is the German word for Tungsten. In the United States this company goes by the name of Sylvania. Picture #82 an archival premium advertising print by Brandywine General Store.
