Millwood Old Chapel in waning Sun art print
An archival premium Quality Art Print of the Old Chapel in a waning sunset in Millwood Virginia for sale by Brandywine General Store. Our archival photographic artwork features this old landmark which was built in 1793 and is now the oldest Episcopal Church still in use west of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This stone edifice replaced a log Church that was built in 1747 by decree of the VA General Assembly which established the Frederick Parish in 1738. The original log Church was destroyed in the American Revolutionary War. A few spots of warm setting sun can be seen on the building.
