Chitwood and Woodburn Halls at WVU
A Museum Quality Print of Chitwood and Woodburn Halls at WVU. Chitwood Hall, built in 1893, is the newest building on the West Virginia University Quadrangle. It now houses the university's Department of Foreign Languages and is on the right in this scene. The architecture of Chitwood Hall is of the Queen Anne style and as such is at odds with it's two neighbors on the Quad. Woodburn Hall is the poster child for the University as it appears on most advertisements and is probably the best known building on campus, other than the football stadium or coliseum. Picture #404 an original photographic print by Brandywine General Store.
