A Museum Quality Art Print of Ave Maria Grotto for sale by Brandywine General Store. This miniature Village was built by Brother Joseph Zoettl, a Benedictine monk of St. Bernard Abbey, who devoted some 50 years to this project of miniature Churches and historical buildings. The last three decades (1932 to 1961), he worked almost without interruption. The miniature model buildings incorporate discarded building supplies, bricks, marbles, tiles, pipes, sea shells, plastic animals, costume jewellery, toilet bowl floats and cold cream jars.
