This vintage ad shows an early 20th century mother with a new born baby, both are setting at the table eating. The mother is also drinking some of this malt, which is in a bottle resembling a beer bottle, which is probably what this was mostly made from. The bottle states that there is new vigor and strength in every drop and the directions were a wine glass full before or after meals and on retiring, or as directed by a Doctor. This was a liquid extract of malt and hops and the date on the bottle is June 20, 1908, the company making the product was the Seattle Brewing and Malting Co.
