Mountain State Flag and Trolley Car on Capitol Grounds Art Print
A Museum Quality Art Print of the Mountain State Flag and Trolley Car on the Capitol Grounds at Charleston WV for sale by Brandywine General Store. This scenic landscape was taken from the plaza directly across from the West Virginia Capitol Building where the zero mile marker is located as well as steps down to the Kanawha River. The zero mile marker is the exact spot where the measurements on the road markers all across the state are measured from. This shot features the state flag proudly flying in the wind under a nice blue sky. Across the road is a parked trolley car and in the foreground is the sign for the capitol building which tells that the state capitol was moved between Wheeling and Charleston several times before permanently settling in Charleston in 1885. Picture #397 an original West Virginia photographic print by Brandywine General Store.
