Secretary's Office on the Capitol Grounds at Williamsburg Art Print
A Museum Quality Art Print of the Secretary's Office on the Capitol Grounds at Williamsburg, VA for sale by Brandywine General Store. This scenic historical picture shows the building with the sun shining on it brightly, a flag flying in the front yard and a large crepe myrtle tree on either end. The Secretary's Office was built in 1747 after a fire destroyed the first Capitol Building in the same year and destroyed all the official papers. This building was designed to be fireproof which it must have been as this is one of the original buildings of the Williamsburg colony. This also contained an office for the Secretary of the Colony.
