Hemlock Trees in Various Stages of Death Art Print
An archival premium Quality art Print of Hemlock Trees in Various Stages of Death for sale by Brandywine General Store. This magnificent tree once a mainstay of eastern forests is now becoming extinct like the great American Chestnut Tree of a century ago. This scenic landscape shows the various stages of decline of this evergreen tree. On the left are two Hemlock trees that are completely dead, in the center is one about half gone, while on the right is a large specimen that still somehow looks healthy, even there are two small dead trees around this healthy Hemlock. A magnificent mountain scene is in behind these trees and all under a dark blue sky full of clouds. This forested composition is from the Great Smokey Mountain National Park at an elevation of around 4500 feet. Picture #534 an original TN scenic landscape art print made from a photograph in the Brandywine collection.
