Wild Blueberry Burnout Art Print
An original premium Quality Art Print of A Wild Blueberry Burnout Bush for sale by Brandywine General Store. This scenic landscape shows an unusual fall scene of a red bush surrounded completely by solid rock which was taken on the top of Seneca Rocks, located in the Spruce Knob - Seneca Rocks Recreation area. The red bush is the wild blueberry bush or sometimes better known as the huckleberry. These bushes are plentiful in the higher altitudes of eastern West Virginia. The old settlers used to gather these berries every year to add to their food stock for the following winter. They could be canned, dried and made everyone's favorite pies or jellies. In later years, the berries could also be frozen so they would last throughout the winter. Picture #309 an original archival fall landscape made from a photograph in the Brandywine collection.
