Oglebay Hall Wide Angle View at WVU
Brandywine General Store
An art print of Oglebay Hall on WVU campus with flower beds for sale by Brandywine General Store. Our West Virginia University landscape features the historic structure, built in 1918, with a wider view of the front which includes all the flower beds and shrubs. All this adds much color to the scene along with the bright blue sky overhead. Oglebay originally served as the University's College of Agriculture showing the roots of WVU as a land grant college. There is a Memorial in the front for the sailors that lost their lives when the Battleship USS West Virginia was sunk at Pearl Harbor during World War II. This memorial also serves to honor all the students of WVU who have died in service during times of war. Picture #419 an original premium quality WVU print made from a photograph in the Brandywine collection.
