South Trenton NJ Veer and Rowley obsolete quarter scrip 1862 PMG 20
A twenty five cents obsolete scrip note for Veer and Rowley of South Trenton NJ dated Nov 15th, 1862 and certified by PMG at 20 Very Fine for sale by Brandywine General Store. PMG also left the notations on the back of punch cancelled and tear. Veer and Rowley were merchants in the city. A Native American Indian is the vignette on the left end, a nice stamp cancel is on the reverse. The pictures show the front and back of the actual Veer and Rowley obsolete change note graded PMG 20 that is for sale.
