1970 Michigan License Plates
A pair of NOS 1970 Michigan passenger automobile license plates for sale by Brandywine General Store. The 70 MI DMV car tags were issued in an odd color to honor the 10th anniversary of Oakland University. The car tags are unused and will grade excellent. These Michigan passenger tags have a mustard yellow background with white wording and have 19 MICHIGAN 70 printed across the top with GREAT LAKE STATE stamped along the bottom. We have more than one set of these classic1970 Michigan passenger car license plates available for sale, so the ones in the picture might not be the ones you receive, but all will be the same new old stock Excellent condition. In 1970, the Michigan Department of Motor Vehicles started a new numbering system which used 3 letters and 3 numbers to make the DMV registration numbers on their license plates.
