A 1998 Leaf Rookies and Stars baseball card featuring Cal Ripken Jr. Greatest Hits being # 3 in the series. This card was limited to only 2500 and this example was #498. The front of this rare Cal Ripken card is very colorful with orange and blacks and shows Cal on the right side finishing a batting swing. The back states With President Clinton in attendance at Camden Yards, Cal capped his successful chase of Lou Gehrig's durability record with a home run on September 6, 1995. That was his 2,131st consecutive game, one more than the original Iron Man compiled while with the Yankees from 1925 thru 1939. Then it has a block with 0498 / 2500. A very nice looking baseball card and one you should have if you are a Ripken fan. This card of the Hall of Fame baseball player is available for sale at Brandywine General Store.
