Bootes Constellation is the 13 largest constellation in the night sky, the name comes from the Greek meaning Ox Driver, plowman or herdsman. It was first catalogued by Ptolomey, the 2nd century Greek Astronomer. Arcturus, Guardian of the Bear, is the 3rd brightest star in the night sky is found in Bootes. The Canes Venatici, Latin for Hunting Dogs, represents the hunting dogs of Bootes the Herdsman. This constellation was named in 1687 by Polish astronomer Johannes Hevelius. Coma Berenices Constellation was named after Queen Berenice II of Egypt. Ptolemy considered this to be the end of the tail in the Leo constellation, but in the 16th century it was classified as a separate constellation. It is Home of the Black eye Galaxy and the North Galactic Pole. Quadrans Muralis, the 4th constellation on this busy part of outer space is not considered a galaxy today. Urania's Mirror astronomical cards were published in 1825 in London for the purpose of learning about the stars and constellations in the sky.
