Our historical civil war artwork features the house of the African American farmer Abraham Bryan along with the well and hand water pump in front of the house. The 2 room house with an upstairs loft became the headquarters of General Alexander Hay's division of the 2nd Army Corps of the Army of the Potomac during the Battle of Gettysburg.
