Caravaggio - Madonna of the Rosary Religious Art Print
A Museum Quality Print of Madonna of the Rosary painted by Italian Baroque painter Caravaggio in 1607 for sale by Brandywine General Store. This religious work of art is thought to be the only standard Baroque alterpiece painted by Caravaggio. The Madonna is seated on a throne, and seems to give assent with a wave of the hand to St. Dominic who is dressed in his usual habit and holding a rosary. An image of the donor or commissioner of the picture is at the left dressed in black with a ruff, this is thought to be Nicholas Radulovic, a rich merchant of Ragusa, now in Croatia.
