Columbia Bank KY Rare Obsolete one dollar banknote 1818
An obsolete one dollar rare banknote from the Bank of Columbia in Kentucky issued September 15, 1818 for sale by Brandywine General Store. This KY wildcat bank was chartered in 1818 and failed shortly thereafter, a great collectible from early Kentucky. The condition is fine with a few small pinholes. In the Kentucky obsolete reference book this note is rated R-7 on the rarity scale meaning that only 1 to 5 are thought to still exist.
