An obsolete ten dollar Revenue Bond Scrip issued in 1872 for the Blue Ridge Railroad Company from Columbia South Carolina for sale by Brandywine General Store. This obsolete currency was issued to relieve the state of SC of all liability for its guarantee of the bonds of the Blue Ridge Railroad Company, by providing for the securing and destruction of the same and dated March 2, 1872. Most of this money however went to the government leaders of South Carolina during the Reconstruction era.
