CR #12 Georgia Obsolete one dollar Civil War Treasury Note 1863
An obsolete Georgia one dollar treasury note issued during the Civil War from Milledgeville GA on January 1st, 1863 for sale by Brandywine General Store. The obsolete currency has a large passenger train billowing black smoke with a small Georgia coat of arms below the train. Criswell lists this GA civil war currency as CR #12 with a R3 on the rarity scale meaning between 2501 to 5000 are estimated to still exist today. The serial number is 11138 with a D plate letter and a green treasury stamp on the front. Our estimation of grade to be used as a reference only is very fine with a few very small pinholes.
