CR #13 Virginia Obsolete Five Dollar Treasury Note 1862 crisp EF
A five dollar obsolete treasury note from the commonwealth of Virginia issued October 15, 1862 from the second issue of Bills issued by VA during the Civil War for sale by Brandywine General Store. The center vignette is a portrait of Johnathon Bennett who was the public account auditor for the state, on the right is the VA state seal. The serial number is 643. There is a green border and two 5 protectors in round green medallions. Our estimate of grade to be used as reference only is crisp extra fine. The pictures show the actual front and back of the Virginia obsolete civil war treasury bill that is for sale.
