CR #14 Two Dollar Obsolete Currency SC Revenue Bond 1873
An obsolete two dollar South Carolina revenue bond currency issued in 1873 for sale by Brandywine General Store. The 1873 release of notes from the Palmetto State were supposedly for retiring the debt of the Republican printing company, the state's official printer during this reconstruction era. Our estimation of grade to be used as a reference only is choice almost uncirculated. Criswell designated this obsolete money as #SC #14. It has also been pen cancelled with script print on the reverse. The pictures show the front and back of the actual South Carolina obsolete currency that is for sale to help you in judging the condition before purchasing.
