The Yellow Flax was described by Curtis thus - This plant grows by hedges and among shrubs in mountainous situations and rarely exceeds a foot in height. The flower needs a soil that is moderately stiff and moist and blooms continuously in June, July and part of August with the flowers expanding the most in the full morning sun. Linum Flavum.
