Mississippi Faith of the State Pledged $10.00 Obsolete Note 1862
An obsolete Ten Dollar Faith of the State Pledged Mississippi Civil War Treasury note issued July 1, 1862 for sale by Brandywine General Store. This beautiful bill has a green tint with a red overprinted large X and also red Faith of the State Pledged. Our estimate of grade is choice fine with a couple pinholes but still has some crispness and a very nicely cut full border. This obsolete currency is Criswell MS #30, on the left is Industry seated with large gear and tools, the top center is a passenger train billowing out black smoke and on the right is a farmer with grain and sickle.
