Primrose Evening or Rose Colored Oenothera Botanical Art Print
An archival premium Quality Art Print of the Rose Color Oenothera flower, currently known as the Evening Primrose for sale by Brandywine General Store. The picture shows a single stem flower with two full blooms and numerous buds getting ready to bloom. This was originally produced in the Botanical Magazine in 1796 and was described thus - This flower was introduced into England in the year 1783 by Mr. Thoriun from Peru. It is a perennial and more hardy than most greenhouse plants currently being grown. The rose colored Oenothera rarely exceeds one foot in height with the rose colored flowers expanding during the whole of the day and are produced during most of the summer months.
