T-54 Two Dollar Civil War Issue 1862 PF-11
A T-54 obsolete ten dollar Civil War treasury note issued December 02, 1862 by the Southern Central Gov't for sale by Brandywine General Store. This type 54 example is designated as PF-11, meaning there are periods after both plate letters, no printers name and from the 1st series. I am not sure about the 2nd plate letter period as the signature goes over it, but it appears there is a period under the ink. Our estimation of grade to be used as a reference only is almost uncirculated. There are small pinholes and also a small area of loss from the ink burn in the signature, but does have a nice light pink tint on the paper.
