T-70 Two Dollar Civil War Issue 1864 PF-05 Professionally Certified
A T-70 Two Dollar Judah P. Benjamin obsolete bill issued during the Civil War in 1864 for sale by Brandywine General Store professionally certified and graded. This note is designated PF-5 which means it has Engraved by Keating and Ball and there are no periods before or after either of the plate letters. This variety is common and rated at R-1 in the Fricke reference book. Judah P. Benjamin served as Secretary of the State and War as well as Attorney General for the Southern States during the Civil War. We have more than one professionally certified and graded Civil War Type 70 two dollar bills but we have included pictures of each one currently in our inventory, these are all PF #5.
