An archival premium quality art print of Blackcock and Guineas in Winter Flight by Archibald Thorburn in 1924 for sale by Brandywine General Store. These game birds were on a large canvas with the size being 36 by 55 inches. Recently sold by Bonhams of London for 310,900.00, this painting was originally sold in 1944 by Christies of London for a grand total of 70 guineas, which in todays dollars is around 45.00. So this was quite an appreciation of dollars over the last 70 years. The picture shows a cold winter scene with the blackcock and grouse game birds flying over a snow covered creek.
