An original premium quality art print of Vermont Monument Brigadier General George Jerrison Stannard in Gettysburg for sale by Brandywine General Store. Our archival civil war artwork features the top statue of General Stannard who is portrayed with one arm. While he was wounded in the Battle of Gettysburg he did not lose his right arm there, he lost it a year later in the Battle of Fort Harrison near Petersburg Virginia. The statue of General Stannard is 11 feet tall while the column on which it sits is 55 feet.
