An original premium quality art print of Vermont Monument Side View on Cemetery Ridge Gettysburg National Military Park for sale by Brandywine General Store. Our archival civil war artwork features a view from the side of the tall slender monument, which was the first of the large state memorials erected in the park being dedicated in 1889. Each side of the memorial has a bronzed plaque which honors and describes the activities of Lewis Grant's 1st Vt Brigade, 1st VT Calvary, the Vermont soldiers in Hiram Berdan's sharpshooter Regiments and of Stannard's Brigade. The front side has a plaque which reads Vermont in Honor of her Sons who fought on this field.
