Our archival civil war artwork features the historic civil war structure surrounded by bare and fall colored trees. When the Weikert family returned home after the Battle of Gettysburg, they found wounded soldiers still in the parlor and amputated arms and legs piled up outside the windows. The home was used as a field hospital during the Battle of Gettysburg. The yard had been turned into a graveyard.
