An art print of Writing Desk at Oakley Plantation in St. Francisville, LA for sale by Brandywine General Store. Our artwork shows the writing desk in the plantation where John James Audubon spent several months while he was drawing the birds in Louisiana. Mr. Audubon was hired to tutor the daughter of the owners of the Oakley plantation but they had a falling out, however he still drew pictures of 32 birds in the few months he resided here.
