Our historical civil war artwork features a view of the top of the Memorial right as the sun was setting over the distant hills. The figure at the top is the Goddess of Victory and Peace with a palm branch in one hand signifying Victory through Peace, the other hand contains a sword representing the Biblical reference " they shall beat their swords into plowshares".
