An archival premium Quality art Print of Turning Road at Montgeroult by Paul Cezanne for sale by Brandywine General Store. The artist finished this canvas in the year 1899 with the original size being 25 by 29 inches. Mr. and Mrs. John Hay Whitney purchased this post impressionism artwork in 1948 and after their deaths bequeathed it to the Museum of Modern Art in New York City in 1998 where it still resides today. This is an undistinguished subject without a central or dominant point of interest, yet it is still pleasing to the eye. This is the last painting Cezanne made in the small French village of Montgeroult France before returning to his hometown of Aix - en - Provence where he then stayed and painted until his death.
