This oil on canvas measures 15.1 by 18.3 inches and was painted by the artist in Paris France. This still life shows several pods of green grapes still hooked onto their vines, a half dozen of fully ripe red peaches with an apple tucked in behind them. To the left of this arrangement are cobalt blue plums while on the right are grapes of a deep blue variety. In the right corner are fruits which might be figs, pomegranates or something of that sort, all of this is on a brightly veined marble table top.
