Greenbrier River Showing Mill, Cattle and Fall Scene Art Print
An archival premium quality art print of the Greenbrier River for sale by Brandywine General Store This print shows a stretch of the Greenbrier River which is in eastern West Virginia. There is a large mill with waterwheel still showing located below rapids in the river, these rapids turned the mill wheel and gave it the power needed to grind the grains. There is beautiful fall scenery and two cows in the river and a cow and calf along the bank. To the left of the river is an old country road on which a woman is walking, she probably had just been down to check the cows before starting her day. The Greenbrier is a tributary of the New River of the New River Gorge Bridge fame, and is the longest river left in the eastern United States without a dam on it anywhere. Recreation is a big part of this river, with walking trails, trout and other fishing, camping and all kinds of outdoor activities. Picture #02 a country decor artwork made from an antique print.
