Guardi, Gian and Francesco - Erminia and the Shepherds Art Print
An archival premium Quality art Print of Erminia and the Shepherds by Gian Antonio and Francesco Guardi for sale by Brandywine General Store. This painting, along with 2 others was lost to history for many years and when surfaced in the late 1950s, the finding was still vague. Many reports the artworks were found in a shed of an old house in Dublin, Ireland, while other reports state that they were in possession of a Dublin Art Dealer. Erminia and the Shepherds illustrates a scene from one of the great epic poems in the Italian language, Jerusalem Delivered by Torquato Tasso (1544-95), published in 1581. Old Masters art print #89
