The picture shows four large fish that are brown with white spots, swimming along the lake bottom looking for food. Lake Trout are a fresh water fish of the Char subgroup of the Salmon Family. They also go by the names Mackinaw, Lake Char, Touladi, Togue or Grey Trout. These fish are prized both for game and food fish. They are native only to the Northern parts of North America, mostly in Canada and Alaska with a few in the northeastern United States. These fish are the largest of the Charrs with average lengths of 24 to 36 inches with weights of 15 to 40 pounds. The heaviest Lake Trout on record weighed 102 pounds. Country Decor art print #121
