Raphael - Madonna of the Rose Religious Art Print
An archival premium Quality Art Print of the Madonna of the Rose painted by Raphael between 1518 to 1520 for sale by Brandywine General Store. The original size of this oil on canvas was 41 by 33 inches and is now located at the Prado Museum in Madrid Spain. The picture shows the Virgin carrying the Child Jesus, while Saint Joseph holds another child, who is most likely John the Baptist. Raphael was most likely helped with this painting by Guelio Romano and ironically, the rose and the entire lower portion of the canvas was painted at a later date by an unknown artist.
