Ward James - A Heath Ewe art print
An archival premium Quality Art Print of A Heath Ewe painted by famous British animal artist, James Ward in 1810 for sale by Brandywine General Store. The original of this oil on canvas measures 28 by 36 inches in size and is currently at the Yale Center for British Art in New Haven, Connecticut. The artist signed and dated in black paint at the lower left corner, J. Ward 1810. The scene shows three sheep in an old decrepit barn or shed that is missing a lot of boards and some of the framing looks half rotten, the one sheep standing has a bell around her neck, while the other two are laying down and relaxing.
