Wouwerman, Philips - Winter Landscape With Wooden Bridge Art Print
An archival premium Quality Art Print of a Winter Landscape with Wooden Bridge, painted by Philips Wouwerman in 1660 for sale by Brandywine General Store. The original of this oil on an oak panel is 11.4 by 14.6 inches in size and now hangs in the Staatliche Museum in Berlin Germany. The scene shows what looks like an industrial scene in old Europe. There is a brick building in the background with a huge flue so this might have been some kind of foundry, there are men walking across the bridge with something that looks like wood, on their way to this brick building. Along the side of the river is a long lift of some kind, maybe for boats, as there are two boats parked underneath. To complete the scene are children playing on the ice and a man ice fishing with a dog watching him. Old Masters art print #07
