Water Cress in a Country Spring art print
An art print of Water Cress in a County Spring for sale by Brandywine General Store. Our nature artwork features a thick bed of water cress that was in water from a cold spring. Water Cress was used by the old people as a green for salads, it has a much stronger and bitter taste than lettuce, but is supposed to be very healthy. It needs to be harvested early in the season and is hard to clean because of the small leaves and bugs were usually on it, so of course, they all had to be removed.
