1976-S Kennedy Half Dollar PCGS Proof 69 Deep Cameo
A 1976-S Kennedy Half Dollar certified by PCGS at Proof 69 Deep Cameo. As of this writing, PCGS had slabbed 18,430 of these clad half dollars in the 69 grade, however, only 76 have been certified higher at the 70 level. The book price on the Proof 70 DCAM coins are around 3500.00, so the 69 graded slab is quite a bargain. Someday it looks like the prices will have to equalize somewhat. This half dollar was minted for the Nation's celebration of it's bicentennial and was only produced during the years of 75 and 76 but all are given the actual bicentennial date of 1976.
