1961 Florida Motorcycle License Plate
A classic NOS 1961 Florida motorcycle license plate for sale by Brandywine General Store from Alachua county. This unused, classic 61 FL DMV bike tag is yellow with dark blue letters with FLA and 61 both located at the top. The DMV Registration numbers will vary, the condition is excellent plus to near mint. In the previous year of 1960 Harley had bought one half interest in the Italian company of Aermacchi and in this year, the first motorcycle from this joint venture was introduced in the United States. Harley Davidson called this motorcycle the Sprint and short track racers realize that with this bikes low center of gravity and power make this bike a winner. Also in 1961 Honda dominates both the 125cc and 250cc classes at the TT race, Mike Hallwood wins both races and Honda finished 1st through 5th in each race.
