1976 Pennsylvania License Plate
A 1976 Pennsylvania Bicentennial License Plate in unused near mint condition for sale by Brandywine General Store. The color of the 76 DMV Tag is blue with yellow, PENNSYLVANIA is at the top, Bicentennial State 76 is at the bottom and the Liberty Bell is in the center, being used as the divider between the numbers. There is also a T sticker in the upper right corner, this was a temporary sticker that motorists applied until they received their regular issue yearly sticker. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania was early with their Bicentennial celebration, these license plates were issued starting in 1971. In that year this license plate won ALPCA's Best License Plate for the year of 1971. Pennsylvania only issued single license plates in the 1976 model year. We have more than one 1976 Bicentennial Pennsylvania License Plates available for sale at Brandywine General Store, so the one you receive might not be the one in the picture, but all are the same near mint, unused quality. All the 1976 Pennsylvania license plates will have the 39R prefix and the T sticker. We also have a couple different lightly used plates with the T sticker, these will have their own picture and listing here.
