A twenty five cents obsolete scrip note for the city of Newark New Jersey issued during the Civil War on November 1st, 1862 for sale by Brandywine General Store. The light and dark green tint note makes an attractive appearance, the serial number is 24,865. We estimate the condition as fine with a couple small nicks on the bottom border.
