An obsolete Texas five dollars civil war Treasury Warrant for civil service issued from Austin on November 5, 1864 to Nueces County for sale by Brandywine General Store. Criswell designated this obsolete money as #14a which means the bond interest rate was changed from 8% down to 6% in red ink. Our estimation of condition to be used as a guide only is extra fine.
