T-68 Ten Dollar Civil War Issue 1864 PF-38 Series 8
A T-68 obsolete ten dollar treasury bill issued by the Southern Central Government in 1864 during the civil war for sale by Brandywine General Store. This type 68 treasury bill is designated PF-38, meaning it is from the 8th series. It is R1 on the rarity scale which is common. It could be possible these are also PF-39, which would mean the 8 in series is hand drawn, but I think these are machine made 8s. Check the picture and you can decide if that is important to you. Our estimation of conditions are to be used as a reference only. Type 68 obsolete civil war currency features horse drawn artillery in the center vignette. R.M.T. Hunter is on the right who served Secretary of State for the Confederacy as well as a Senator for awhile. The pictures show the front and back of the actual type 68 civil war currency that is for sale to help you determine the grade yourself before purchasing. We have more than one in our inventory but we have provided pictures of each one along with our estimated grade.
