Arches Park the Window Formation at Park Avenue Fine Art Print
A museum quality print of the window formation along Park Avenue located in Arches National Park in Moab Utah for sale by Brandywine General Store. This park was established on April 12, 1929 as a National Monument. Humans have occupied this desolate area of Utah for around 10,000 years. The Fremont and ancient Pueblo People lived here until about 700 years ago. Spainish Missionaries encountered the Ute and Paiute Indian tribes when they first visited the area in 1775, but the first European Americans to attempt to settle the area were the Mormon Elk Mountain Mission in the year 1855, however they soon abandoned the area. Picture #08 an archival geographic print made from a photograph in the Highsmith collection.
