1870 Baltimore Document Machinist's Bill for Setting up Shop
An 1870 historical Baltimore MD document which shows the expenses for a machinist setting up a shop or small factory for sale by Brandywine General Store. This antique paper document. One of the items on this list is a hub lathe that was 500.00, so maybe this man was a wheelwright or something in that order. The writing is hard to ready so not really sure what this was, but all kinds of iron, steel, castings, augers, flanges, belts, pulleys and much more. Maybe he was just getting supplies to do a large job for someone or the city of Baltimore.
